Celebrating my favourite coin, the fun coin; The Arcade Coin
We’re horribly close to loosing physical money all together, and I think I’m feeling pretty sentimental (or should I say ‘cent’-imental) 😳
This piece was recently exhibited at Paxton+Glew Gallery in Brighton, as part of their show ‘Game On’

In 1983 a small number of 2p coins were mistakenly struck with the wording ‘NEW PENCE‘ on the reverse. These coins were produced to brilliant uncirculated quality – a standard higher than ordinary circulating coins – and were included in special sets intended for collectors.
