NEVER GOING UNDERGROUND
New. Editors-pick on Art Finder for #Pride2025
Inspired by an early piece of LGBT propaganda, ‘NEVER GOING UNDERGROUND’ is a celebration of pride, with all the power and flair of a disco ball!
The original artwork dates back to 1988 and was used in rallies to oppose section 28. When I first saw it it struck me that, as a woman in a same-sex marriage, I’ve been privileged enough to often forget that love within the queer community isn’t and hasn’t always been easy.
This piece speaks to me of a refusal to feel any shame, and I love it!
I’ll donate 28% to Stonewall (Charity No. 1101255). You can either pay full price and I will donate, or you can make a donation of £126 yourself here
