That’s 8 hours of art, music and pop-up bars, all with incredible sea views, along the iconic 480m stretch. It’s well worth a trip to the seaside for, and come and say hi if you do 👋

Thrilled to be selected as part of the Pride Colle Thrilled to be selected as part of the Pride Collection on @artfinder_com 🙌😍 Inspired by an early piece of LGBT propaganda, ‘NEVER GOING UNDERGROUND’ is a celebration of pride, with all the flair and power of a disco ball. The original artwork dates back to 1988 and was used in rallies to oppose section 28. When I first saw it, it struck me that as a woman in a same-sex marriage, I’ve been privileged enough to often forget that love within the queer community isn’t and hasn’t always been easy. ‘Snug’. I made this one last year for @thegood ‘Snug’. I made this one last year for @thegoodplace_cafebar (a great spot for coffee and artwork next time you’re in Hastings!) It’s not often that I blow my own trumpet, but for anyone who enjoys mixing and matching colours as much as I do, you can share in my joy; I visited the cafe and saw the wall Snug was going to be hung on, and only after getting back to my studio did the customer and I decide that it would work well if the batons that fix the letters together were the same colour as the wall so that they blended in.. so I mixed a colour FROM MEMORY… and I find it so unbelievably pleasing just how well the colour matches! I think I might have finally found out what my super power is 🙌🤪 #snug #colourmatch #coffee

I'm finally feeling very settled, my house now has enough pink in it again for it to feel like home (and a few secret doorways), and the time "off" has been really good for me creatively. The lightbulbs are firing-up again and I have loads of new ideas! I also have a much bigger work space, and I'm ready to start taking-on commissions for these larger bespoke signs again; Any word, painted any colours, with or without bulbs. Serving the second most iconic comedy food-item - Serving the second most iconic comedy food-item - The Egg 🍳 I've been pretty quiet on here lately; I finally moved house and studio 2 weeks ago. It's also Easter Holidays so my boys are off school... I did cook-up some Eggs though! 3 to be specific, and they can hang on your wall much like my Smileys - I've made them available on my website with delivery possible before Sunday if you order quick enough 🙂 These came off the back of a bigger project I was working on a few months ago, photos of which I'll share as soon as it's installed! 🍳
