Serving the second most iconic comedy food-item - Serving the second most iconic comedy food-item - The Egg 🍳 I've been pretty quiet on here lately; I finally moved house and studio 2 weeks ago. It's also Easter Holidays so my boys are off school... I did cook-up some Eggs though! 3 to be specific, and they can hang on your wall much like my Smileys - I've made them available on my website with delivery possible before Sunday if you order quick enough 🙂 These came off the back of a bigger project I was working on a few months ago, photos of which I'll share as soon as it's installed! 🍳

Mirror-tiled Smileys.. Bigger, and even a pink one Mirror-tiled Smileys.. Bigger, and even a pink one! I’ve made a very small number of these, and have just added them to my website 🎉 Hang them on a wall that gets good sunlight, and they are the peacocks of my Smiley collection! I can’t get enough of the light these cast A round wooden disc, hand-painted with a smiley face, and finished with mirrored glass tiles around the edge. A wall mount fixing is attached to the back, making them easy to hang on your wall. There are 6 black&yellow ones, and just one pink&yellow 🙂
‘Together’ was a collaboration with @dianarika ‘Together’ was a collaboration with @dianarikasari, and how perfect does it look in her house?! It’s one of the most elaborate pieces I’ve made, and designing it with Diana in mind was a LOT of fun! When we set out on this project, it was clear from the get-go that we had a similar vision; Much like she does with her up-cycled clothing, ‘Together’ is designed to look as though it was made by chopping up signs I’ve made over the past few years and sticking pieces back together. Whilst also featuring elements and patterns that come to mind when we think of Diana’s collections. I’m so pleased with the finished piece! 🍄 Together is available through my website, hand-made to order 🍄

[M]OTHER encourages us to explore the conflict we can feel as Mothers, when yearning to also identify as something else; something ‘other’ than. [M]OTHER also celebrates my personal experience as a mother in a same-sex relationship. Being and having an other-mother, and parenting in an other way. [M]OTHER is a limited edition giclee print, on archival paper which has really rich a chalky feel. Available in 2 sizes, shipped in time for Mother’s Day 👯

There’s a lotta love going round today. And don’t get me wrong, I love it! But it also felt timely to share a piece I’ve been working on; Inspired by an early piece of LGBT propaganda I saw at @queerbritain, ‘NEVER GOING UNDERGROUND’. It dates back to 1988 and was used in rallies to oppose section 28. When I first saw it it struck me that I’ve been very privileged to often forget that love within the queer community isn’t and hasn’t always been easy. This piece speaks to me of a refusal to feel any shame, and I love it! #nevergoingunderground #love

Big Smileys now even BIGGER! 🙂 Available 35cm d Big Smileys now even BIGGER! 🙂 Available 35cm diameter (as pictured) and now also 50cm diameter - order before Wednesday for Christmas delivery (while stocks last) Big Smileys are made using circular discs of mdf which I have cut by my trusty CNC-cutter Ben in Rye. I paint and finish them with a UV-protective varnish. They are signed and authenticated on verso. The wall-mount fixing on the back is set-in meaning they hang completely flush against the wall 🤤
