JOY IN MESS

I find workbenches become so beautiful over time. But periodically I need new ones.

For this series I laid tape and stencils over a freshly painted sheet of wood, and used it as a desk for many months. I’ve started cutting it up and peeling back the stencils to reveal the lettering, and then finishing with some hand-painting to make these one-off signs
