My workbenches become so beautiful over time, and periodically I need new ones.

For this series of bench-off-cuts I laid stencils over freshly painted sheets of wood, and used them as a desk for many months. I’ve slowly started cutting the benches up and peeling back the stencils to reveal the lettering, and make these one-off signs. Elements of the lettering are hand-painted afterwards

• Each piece is a one-off
• Black lettering
• Approx 30 x 60cm
• 18mm ply
• Mirror-plate fixings attached to the back for wall mounting
• Indoor only

All pieces are a one-off piece, and will differ slightly from the one pictured. It will be the same in size and with the same lettering. But the marks and splatters will be different, as they are built-up over months of me working on other pieces.
